Q&A with The Little Gardening Co

When did you company launch and who is behind it?

I’m Jo, and I launched The Little Gardening Co. in 2001 after discovering my passion for gardening. For 13 years, I worked alone, building a business I loved. When I met my now husband, we joined forces, growing our gardening and landscaping services together. My love for furniture restoration began over 30 years ago, and over time, it naturally became an exciting part of our business. Rescuing and reviving vintage garden furniture—giving it a fresh new look with paint, fabric, and reclaimed materials—feels incredibly rewarding. Now, we’re excited to expand this side of our business and share our passion.

What is your USP?

The Little Gardening Co. rescues vintage and unique garden furniture from landfill, restoring each piece with care using reclaimed materials and fabrics. Every item gets a fresh new life, blending sustainability with timeless charm. As passionate gardeners and landscapers, we create beautiful, eco-friendly outdoor spaces while giving forgotten treasures a second chance.
